We are pleased to inform you that the transition of our old Cash Register (Point-of-Sale) systems to a more robust and advanced platform is now complete across all India Bazaar locations. This upgrade will help us serve you with greater accuracy and efficiency and enhance your overall shopping experience.
As with any major transition, we are currently experiencing some technical glitches, which our team is actively working on streamlining. We truly appreciate your patience and understanding as we iron out these final issues.
Rewards Program Update
While the reward point data of most customers has been successfully migrated to the new system, due to technical issues a small number of customer accounts could not be automatically updated and some points were not automatically transferred to the new system. Reasons include:
- Incomplete or insufficient data
- Incorrect account information
If you notice any discrepancies in your rewards balance, please visit the Customer Service desk at any of our Dallas locations. Our store teams are well-equipped to manually review and update your points on the spot. We sincerely thank you for your patience and continued patronage.
Store Credit and Refund Policy
Going forward, any refunds or store credits will be issued directly to the original method of payment. This applies to all returns and adjustments unless otherwise communicated.
In the new POS system we aren’t able to transfer the store credit from the old POS system due to technical glitches. We would like to offer customers with a gift card with the exact same balance which existed in their store credit and they can use it at any of the India bazaar Dallas locations. Customer Service team can assist the customers during their next visit to any of the India Bazaar locations in Dallas Metroplex.
Gift Card Update
Gift card balances will continue to be honored. If you have not already exchanged any of your old Gift cards you can exchange your old gift card for a new gift card, and the balance will be transferred upon submission of the original card.
We appreciate your ongoing support as we complete this important upgrade. These changes are part of our commitment to provide you with a smoother, more rewarding shopping experience at India Bazaar.
